Frequently Asked Questions

What is Paerolyte?

Paerolyte is a safe, all-natural biocide for use in eliminating viruses, bacteria, and mold spores – both in the AIR and on SURFACES.  Paerolyte’s efficacy has been validated against dozens of biological threats including Swine Flu (H1N1), Bird Flu (H5N1), Ebola, Anthrax spores, C. diff, E. coli, and the SARS-COV-2 virus.

How Does Paerolyte work as a Micro-Spray?

The micro-sprayer converts Paerolyte into a tiny vapor particles that diffuse like a “gas” or “dry fog” throughout an entire room or enclosed space eliminating bacteria and viruses everywhere they exist.  The vapor particles eliminate airborne pathogens and disinfect deep within porous surfaces such as bedding, carpets, clothing, and linens, as well as hard surfaces such as countertops, equipment, and hard to reach areas such as ceilings, ventilation systems and crawl spaces. The micro-spray is also highly effective at odor removal.

Is Paerosol EPA or FDA Approved?

Paerolyte is an EPA-registered, medical-grade disinfectant which contains hypochlorous acid as its active ingredient.  HOCL is approved by the EPA for cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting, and is widely accepted as one of the most powerful and effective disinfectants available – approximately 80 times stronger than bleach.  HOCL is also FDA approved for use in wound care, veterinary use, and food preparation, and USDA approved and certified as “organic” for use in food production, processing, and packaging.

Is Paerolyte Safe for People?

Paerolyte micro-spray contains no chemicals or additives, and is non-toxic, non-irritating, and non-hazardous.  Paerolyte micro-spray leaves no chemical residue or moisture on surfaces, and is safe and gentle for everyday use with no negative side effects.  Paerosol is OSHA compliant for both short-term and long-term exposure limits to airborne chlorine.  Paerosol’s active ingredient HOCL is produced naturally by the human body to fight infection, and is widely used in hospitals for wound care and skin treatment.

Is Paerolyte Proven to Work?

Paerolyte used as a micro-spray has been tested and validated by many research institutions and agencies worldwide including the U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, World Health Organization, Auburn University, Mississippi State University, University of Minnesota, and University of Colorado.
